Course Description

If you want to look at new and creative ways in working with children / young particularly those ‘high energy children’ that take up a lot of your time, then this one day workshop is for you... The power of this approach has long been evidenced in Education, mental Health, Community etc and some pioneering work already been done to prove its success. The approach shows the impressive results it gets with children and Young People who appear to respond naturally to this way of working.

  • To look at different case studies and examples to show the positive results in work with children and young people
  • Through skills practice, to develop competence and confidence in using the tools and techniques

This One and a half day introductory course will leave you thinking in a new and powerful way... There are always exceptions to every problem we have and when we start to look at these we often tap into our inner resources and discover strengths we did not realise were there. The ideas, values and skills of Solution Focused Communication are helpful to anyone who works with people. The power of this approach has long been evidenced in helping services, community work and schools, but it is also becoming recognised in staff / human resource management and organisational development. This Course offers new and different communication skills and builds on existing strengths. There is opportunity to practice on this course.
